I recently had a wonderful visit to Gurney's Newport, where I celebrated a special occasion with my family. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, providing a clean and comfortable room with stunning views. The complimentary shuttle service was a fantastic perk, making it easy to explore the area. However, it would have been even better if the room layout was more optimal and had seating beyond the bed.

My stay at Gurney's was a mix of beautiful views and disappointing service. While the outdoor areas were stunning and the room had great water views, the overall quality of the rooms did not match the luxury pricing. Unfortunately, the noise from the outdoor deck turned my relaxing weekend into a frustrating experience, and I found the staff's responses to issues lacking in hospitality. Overall, I enjoyed aspects of my stay but would hesitate to return due to the price versus quality.
